Laundry Attendant (Housekeeping) - WEEKENDS!
We are looking for an individual to join our Hampton Housekeeping team for Saturdays and Sundays. The position requires day time shifts and just the right person to give 100% Hamptonality to our guests while adhering to our Hilton Clean Stay procedures!
- Areas of Accountability
- Perform all duties associated with laundering of Goods.
- Perform daily pick up of soiled laundry from guest floors.
- Operate industrial sized washers and dryers to clean and dry sheets, blankets, towels and other items as outlined in departmental training.
- Check all finished products to ensure that they are washed, dried and that the item is free of stains and in good condition.
- Report damaged or improperly cleaned goods to Housekeeping Manager and/or supervisors.
- Keep laundry area and equipment clean and maintained.
- Restock and delivers all clean linen to appropriate areas such as guest floors
- Report all broken equipment to maintenance.
- Ensure the proper storage, handling and control of all cleaning products.
- Assist room attendants to clean guest rooms during slow periods.
- Work in conjunction with and provides constant cooperation, support and assistance to the Housekeeping Manager and /or Supervisors.
- Record all discards are per departmental procedures.
- Respond to all in house calls in a timely and professional manner.
- Perform deliveries to guest rooms as required by Guest Services.
Job Type: Part-time
Salary: $14.50-$15.50 per hour
