Track Maintenance Supervisor
Work Location: Port Hedland
Fortescue’s Hedland Operations are located on the traditional lands of the Kariyarra people
Roster: 14 days on, 14 days off FIFO Ex Perth
Reporting to the Track Maintenance Superintendent, this role will be responsible for looking over the Track Maintenance team at Rail Operations.
Key accountabilities will include:
- Keep the team working safely and the track open to safe and efficient operation to all trains.
- Manage daily work and provide support to all Track Maintenance Technicians, Track Inspectors and Signals Technicians.
- Assist the planning team on determining long term strategies.
- Highly level of ownership for all track and signals teams and assets
- Good level of interpersonal relationship skills as this role interacts with multiple departments.
- Achieve targets of weekly time confirmation and compliance with work management requirements
Qualifications and skills required:
- Strong commitment to health and safety
- Strong leadership skills
- Previous experience in heavy haul railway maintenance
- Experience in computer-based maintenance systems
- SAP experience
