Eurofins is looking for a Group Net Working Capital (NWC) Controller to join the Group’s Treasury team. Net Working Capital is one of the key financial metrics for the Eurofins network and it is subject to continuous improvement.
In this role, you will take charge of the NWC and ensure that the Group significantly reduces its NWC level. Your responsibilities will involve collaborating with management across all levels, implementing necessary actions, fostering best practices among Eurofins companies, and establishing specific goals and tools.
As a Group NWC Controller, your work will include:
- Monitoring and assessing NWC Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), such as DSO, DPO, inventory, and other financial metrics
- Conducting performance comparisons against budget and previous periods to ensure continuous improvement
- Maintaining accurate treasury-related data within our existing system
- Utilising our advanced reporting tools to create a dedicated dashboard, enabling efficient tracking of NWC KPIs at both local and Group level
- Identifying legal entities that deviate from expectations and developing action plans to rectify non-compliance
- Producing reports to alert management to any deviations
- Sharing best practices & solutions
- Contributing to the budget process by partnering with our Group Treasury and controlling teams to set realistic NWC targets for each scope
- Participating in exciting Group Treasury projects related to NWC and other strategic areas (ERP, etc.)
We're looking for candidates with the following qualifications:
- Master's degree in Business Administration or Finance
- Successful prior working experience (2-3 years) as a Controller, Financial Analyst or in Audit is mandatory
- Good knowledge of accounting principles and understanding of business processes (P2P, C2C)
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills to drive effective decision-making
- Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to delivering accurate work
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to effectively manage multiple tasks
- Fluent English language proficiency to facilitate seamless communication
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, ensuring effective collaboration and inspiring team members
