Team Lead Application Functions

ZF is an innovation-driven company that develops volume production-ready products based on its own research and development efforts and thus invests in the future in a targeted way. We are currently expanding our R&D teams in Serbia and looking for a new colleagues who will join our team at our new location Novi Sad.
Your responsibilities:
- Professional and disciplinary lead of the Function & SW Development team for application layer functions
- Coordinate activities within the team to support internal and external customers
- Responsible for capacity planning and software development following ZF internal corporate directives in alignment with global software development organization of the E-Division
- Cooperate and share experiences with all other function and SW development groups within the divisional software development organization
- Work closely with project management and development teams to ensure project implementation and new business acquisitio
- Carry out performance management of the team, define and develop competencies depending on project needs, define structure and operation, monitor team performance, foster collaboration among team members
Your profile:
• 5+ years advanced experience in function (electric motor control, electric drive functions, inverter functions, disconnect, park lock) and SW development for e-mobility (preferably in a powertrain product development environment in the automotive industry)
- Proven ability to work independently and lead engineering staff
- Proven knowledge and ability in methods of communication, motivation, negotiation, and conflict management skills
- Advanced knowledge in conventional and/or electric powertrain systems (i.e. conventional/hybrid transmissions, electric axles with e-motor/inverters/gear reduction)
- Experience with configuration and revision management in an automotive environment
